You guys are living the life. How sweet it is. The trail is life for you Cory. Stay on it. Off trail is just one big couch.
-
Good news about your back! So happy the pain has lessened. Thanks for the chat about options , etc. Excellent commentary. ❤️👍
-
Cory wandered into the blackberry patch and was never seen again 😂
-
replace your food addiction with a hiking addiction.

Eating healthily according to your metabolism rate and amount of exercise you do is the key. My whole life I have been pretty much able to eat whatever I wanted and not put on weight, my junk food intake is minimal, I probably eat out once a month and have takeaway once a month, in fact I was in my forties before I ever passed through the door of a KFC joint and only then because my children felt they were being deprived! I know I was fortunate but from 18 years old until my mid 40's I was a constant weight and waist size!!! Then I noticed my waistline creeping up from a 30" to 32" to 34" when ordering work trousers, initially I thought it was a change in the manufactures used, then I weighed myself, something I hadn't done in twenty years and the truth dawned I was putting on weight. Basically my metabolism has slowed down with middle age and I now have to monitor what I eat and if I want to consume more I have to exercise more. One thing I have noticed over the years when eating in other peoples houses is, bigger dinner plates generally equals "bigger" people.... At some point you are going to have to rethink your whole approach to diet, food quantity and lifestyle to find a balance that helps you maintain that "house" you are building, even consult a professional. I'm glad to see the back is getting better,

You keep on moving, I'm gonna camp next to that smoked salmon stall
-
Nessa cracked me up every time a simi went by. Haha I think I’ll watch again. 👏
-
You get it! You sir, will continue to do well! Very happy for you!
-
I actually got chills when you panned out towards the water. Crazy!
-
That was epic! I have not seen any other PCT hikers film that bridge hike! It made my heart pound just watching it! I'm so glad we all made it off safe & sound! Love you!
-
I am glad you are feeling better. You're far from done. As soon as you can get back fully ...do it. Change your life forever. I am proud of how far you've come.
-
Thanks. Enjoyed the comments at the end too. Real and inspiring.

Welcome to our state - you continue to inspire - ENJOY!!! :)

5 steps forward, 1 back. Great perspective, but make sure those steps take you away from your favourite take-away joint. Blackberries and salmon are the best take out snacks, bears agree. I'm so glad your back is feeling better and you are feeling healthy. Nice views of the Columbia Fiver. Happy trails Corey and keep on singing.

Hey 2nd Chance, as Ksenia said you can eat a lot of food, but if you eat vegetables first and pretty much only you can lose a lot of weight. Just whole foods-potatoes can be the filling food. Exercise is great, of course, but healthy eating is primary. I am loving eating whole foods-I'm a big food addict, but fruits (sometimes dates) keep my sweet tooth happy. Its the only way I lose weight. Combined with hiking-wow, GG Bridge is the best bridge ever, you probably saw it in fog, & the other in sun, That wasn't fair!
-
I eat a lot but it's mostly fruits and vegetables and less bread, beans, rice. Really helps with weight and health.
-
