My wife and I lived in Portland for three years. If you had continued across the bridge at Multnomah Falls and gone up the trail where people were coming down, you could have gone to a platform right on the edge at the top of the falls. It’s quite a view. Thanks so much for sharing, it felt like I was there again.

Thanks for that memory, Chris. I've not been back to San Francisco for a long while, but it is truly one of the most beautiful cities, and the Bridge is always a thrill.

I was there in the 90's and hiked to the very top of the falls. The view down to the people at the bottom was incredible. Love that part of the country. I'm 69 now and would not hike that tough climb again. So visit when young.

Wow! What amazed me most about Latourell falls; All that rock you're looking at around it, the wavy, tubular rock, it's all Magma Flows! Huge ones!

One of my favorite areas of the country. Last there in the 90's and hiked a trail higher than the bridge, it didn't go to the top, almost with an amazing view looking down. So beautiful there.
