  • Waah, waah, waah. Always the same people whining carrying the same flags and banners. This is only a small percentage of the Spanish population acting out again. The political divide that has affected most of the free world is happening in Spain.
  • 5 years later: where have all the tourists gone? Barcelona lives on tourism more than anyone else
  • @BenAvodot
It’s not the tourists, it’s Airbnb.
  • @WildTrek
Spain has just ruined their tourism industry. I speak fluent Spanish and I wouldn’t ever consider visiting. They’ll cry about the lowered standard of living years from now but it will be too late 🤷‍♂️
  • If all the tourists go home, so does the revenue generated by tourism. The quality of tourism has gone down in the last few decades. People have become very rude.
  • An old Swiss man on a flight once said to me, There is only one Eiffel Tower. What happens when everyone can afford to go see it?
  • These locals better start spending some money then, otherwise Barcelona is gonna go broke.
  • why humans, in 2024, are so territorial is beyond me. We're all stuck here together, we should try to get along and gain experience to some cultures. We should welcome each other... providing everyone is kind and doesn't steal or wreck stuff.
  • Hey I know how they feel, I live in a Tourist zone,,,, we can’t get in and out of our own driveway s and rents triple!,,,
  • @Villanelle2
Also sounds like a lack of tourist etiquette which always equates to a failure of leadership .
  • @XIMILKLA
That’s what exactly it’s going to happen in Mexico if the Government don’t start asking for Visas there’s a lot of of supposed Tourist that there’s staying in Mexico no good👎
  • @boedude8496
thinking they wouldn't like the cut in social programs from the reduced revenue
  • Not only in Spain, here in Japan, if you walk around the country, it doesn't feel being in Japan, there are too many tourists behaving like they own the places. If you are a foreigner, regardless of the money you bring in, remember that you are a guest, and behave accordingly. Respect the local laws, the codes and social customs....
  • What if this happened in America…in NYC or Florida? What if ? The tourists should all stop going to see what happens 😮
  • Europe can’t stay solvent and want to have month long vacations without working is over. You will be in even harder times if you don’t take in tourism
