L.E.D. Dash lights upgrade to my 1990 R31 Nissan Skyline TI.

One of the jobs I had to do on my R31 Skyline TI sedan was to rebuild and service the instrument cluster in my car. This involved removing the cluster and service each gauge, cleaning them and lubricate each gauge. These gauges are 30 years old and the plastics back then are not very good as they age. Utmost care must be taken to restore them as parts for these are just not easy to find. They were made for the R31 series Pintara's and Skylines from 1986 to 1990 and only for the Australian release Nissans. The car turns 30 years old in January 2020 and the original incandescent bulbs we're still in great condition but are now hard to find.

I bought LED bulbs to replace these old bulbs for 2 reasons, first was just the better light the LEDs put out, and two was I would never have to replace them ever. These LEDs bulbs we're a lot cheaper than trying to replace the old incandescent bulbs.

Lastly, the cluster looks fantastic at night now. You can see the dash cluster shows it's 1980's design. Mine is the 6 gauge cluster being a top of line car where the base model only gets 4 gauges.
