"The Pianist" ft Myuu | 2023 Remaster

I've always really loved this one! Myuu's piano really adds a distinct personality, and I love that he was willing to sing (a rare treat!). I've updated the general mixing on the instrumental track and totally redid my own vocals. I hope you enjoy this updated version! As always, the original isn't going anywhere! I've already started work on the next Creepypasta song remaster! Who could it be... ✨🎼

This creepypasta was always one of my favorites because of the premise to it (the original story ended after the realization of what that contact did to his music, hence that line "...or that's how the story goes."). The idea that he wasn't giving his soul literally. He was giving it metaphorically. The idea that yea, sure, you can get what you want...only to realize that it wasn't what you actually wanted. The guy wanted people to enjoy his music - especially his crush. Now he can play the most beautiful music, but he can't play without killing those that hear it. He gave his "soul" because he sacrificed his dreams and why he was wanting to make the deal in the first place.

I will always love songs that tell a story like this.

This is a fantastic new version. It really has such a sinister yet elegant sound. I do miss the visuals that went with the original version though. They really did help tell the story.

Wow, this is even more dramatic, sinister and energetic than the original. The visuals have also improved with better technology but mainly the energy of the voices stand out. Amazing. Madame Macabre never disappoints.

Wow, this really smashed! It reminds me of the song a group did on Alastor making a deal with someone. I like the old saloon style piano. The music making the audience both exhillerated and sick is similar to the Red Shoes story and dancing with the fairies.

The song was wonderful awesome job. I could really hear the emotion. The duet was awesome and harmonious too.
