FORD Just Signaled The Car Market IS COLLAPSING

My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what's happening at the dealer auctions, and what it's like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.

  • When the dealer laughed at me for not buying and telling him I'd wait the market out until they lowered prices, he didn't believe my willpower. It's been two years, and I WILL NOT buy a car that was $30k a few years ago for $50k. You can go kick rocks. Edit: I just looked up the car I've been wanting for awhile, and it looks like the price did go down a little. I'll just keep waiting. haha.

A Ranger for 50k 😂 Work package F150 for 40k 🤣 Ford is out of their mind

I've never paid $50K for a car and I don't think I ever will. I believe that the majority of the population can say the same.
  • @Jim-nt7xy
Ford management is out of touch with the retail consumers.
  • @JokerHigh
They deserve it after laughing at people for 3 years straight
  • @TheBugkillah
When Broncos first came out, you could order a base 2dr for $29k. Now the cheapest is $41k.

Every single time I see a company start losing business, losing money and having trouble retaining customers because they made the willing choice to make products they want to sell instead of the products the customer wants to buy my heart warms a bit and the world just seems like a brighter, kinder place.

No way I'm buying a $50k rolling laptop with a one-year subscription to heated seats

Active duty army here, we use the new electric 150s and they suck and swallow
  • This is what happens when a company makes what consumers don’t want.

Beware of lot rot on these vehicles. Batteries, tires, fluids, etc. may be problematic. Some of these vehicles are over two years old!

I can't blame consumers Car dealerships been bending us over a loooong time. Save your money

I work close to the Ford plant in KC. You should see the ocean of F150s sitting around the plant, they just keep stacking up.
  • There are several factors, no more 0% car loans, inflation eating everyone’s discretionary income, flat raises are not tracking with cost of living, decreased driving because a lot of people are remote, and though cars are getting nicer, the cost of cars has jumped up. Young people just don’t value their cars the way older people do.

I'm not going to tell Ford how to run the company but giving up on sedans sounds and sounded ludicrous.
  • This was a car company started by man's whose vision was to build a car for masses that anyone could afford.

I purchased a brand new 2002 Ford Ranger back in 2001 for about $13,000. Manuel transmission. Kept it for 15 years.

I worked in the dealership scene from 2016-2022 years and I saw the change ramp up 2020. Ford and Chevy dropping the sedan lines was a shot in the foot. Quality control dropped and consumers pay for it in more than one way. Top it off my mom had her car totalled and the market is still nuts. I don't envy anyone being forced to have to buy a car now.
