The last few weeks we’ve been metal detecting this amazing 1840s farmhouse and each time we go out pouches are overflowing with a ton of incredible relics, old coins, and mounds of silver! So far in this one yard we have found old dog tags, flat buttons, concave buttons, tombac buttons, ball buttons, Victorian face buttons, silver thimbles, sterling broaches, sterling WWI Forget Me Not Bracelet, pocketwatch, crotal bells, all sorts of jewelry and so much more! But the coins, of my goodness the coins! We've found thin indian cents, fat indians, double digit silver dimes, multiple silver war nickels, silver Washington Quarters, Silver Barber Dimes, a massive Silver Barber Half Dollar, an early US half cent, and not one but TWO Flying Eagles cents! Well all good things must come to an end and this is our final go at this place we go out with a bang! We even have the property owner's get involved and each of them find something amazing to add to the haul! What an incredible record setting silver property this was, but we'll always still try to beat it!

  • The homeowners had just as much of a good time as you all did! Great finds of all kinds that show the history of who lived there from the early 1800s to now, and possibly even older treasures to be found! I believe the family has found a new hobby! Til next time, keep on diggin...
  • Excellent video guys. It was really cool that homeowner got involved in metal detecting their property and I liked all those cool relics and those silver coins. Can't wait to see Doug metal detecting once his foot heals.

It’s so cool that the items are staying with the house.
  • Wow, you guys have such great OLD targets to find, because people were living there so much earlier than where I am, up here in Northern Pa! Folks didn’t show up here until mostly after 1800… But this hobby is still addictive! I’ve learned a TON about what I find from watching your videos…thanks!!!
