It's funny how the new guy in anything always seems to get the luckiest? They'll bowl that perfect 300 game with a month of bowling experience, or maybe they pick the winning horse their very first time at the track. I knew a guy that picked 10 winners his first time playing our weekly office football pool but still couldn't name a single player. Well apparently beginners luck is no exception in metal detecting either. This week me, Dog-Tag Doug, and the new guy, Geoff Leopard, go back to a house Doug and I detected a few years ago. The home was built in 1685 and sits on the historic registry so you know it's seen some history. We've hit it a few times in the past with our old machines, but wanted a another shot with some newer detecting technology. Turns out there was plenty of stuff we missed after all, and take a guess who finds the lions share...
