This song is so iconic at this point in time but you gotta appreciate how great the lyrics really are. They tell a great story about someone who has returned back to fight after losing with the will to survive and go the distance, and then going straight to the top and watching his prey with the eye of a tiger. My mom was in high school when this song came out in 1982. The mascot of her high school was the Tiger. Needless to say, this became the anthem of her high school and it still is to this day.
