It does not matter what brought you to this song. What matters is that you found an awesome song.

Crazy Story...My parents were going through Roanoke Va and got into an accident. Unbeknownst to them as they were laying in the crashed trunk waiting for the Police and ambulance, a tour bus stopped to help. It was Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. They allowed them to use their cell phones and stayed until help arrived. Not only are they very nice but are an excellent group. It nice to know they're are still great people in the world who are also famous.

i heard some kids singing this on a beach once. from a distance it sounds like "I love paw patrol" I was very confused

Joan Jett from these days, her strong energy, her confident appearance makes her very attractive one. No mater how she looks, these 3 things are key.

How many kids know what is a jukebox?
-
I use to go roller skating to this song as a kid. I think around 1980. And still love the song. Anyone with me in 2020.
-
This is such a classic now, probably the world's most famous rock song sung by a woman, that's pretty freaking awesome
-
RIP Alan Merrill. He wrote this song.

If you ever get the chance, see Joan live, before she retires. Some "vintage" rockers seem like they are just playing by rote, and don't really care anymore. Joan Jett is totally ALIVE when she performs for a crowd, and you can feel her elation. She loves playing rock for people!
