Today at McFarland Racing we opened a new branch in the auto body sector. Now we know this work aint easy so Squirrel and Cleetus really had to channel their inner bondo working magic. Luckily, the El Camino was looking nearly perfect after 10 gallons of bondo!

As a 20 year experience body tech. I learned soo much from this video that I never knew I was doing wrong the whole time.
  • My grandfather was a body man since he was 16 and is now 73 and confined to a wheel chair for the past 5 years, unable to walk completely. I showed him this video, and he stood up and walked over to the tv to turn it off.
  • I from Chattanooga TN and actually lived down the road from Choo Choo Customs. Fun Fact, 1983 was the year with the fewest Choo Choo El Caminos produced (approximately 22 units or less). Choo Choo Customs continued to sell their El Camino conversion parts for several years after El Camino production ended. Choo Choo went out of business in the mid 2000s. At that time, Honest Charley’s Speed Shop (also based out of Chattanooga , TN ) assumed a portion of Choo Choo’s employees and El Camino parts, which they still sell today. I love an El Camino
  • Hibachi Auto Body T-shirt is a necessity at this point. “Where body damage is Chop Suey”
  • @jauken83
Sam looking at the camera several times and saying, "the full tube?" was gold.
  • Chip Foose has been reealll quiet since McFarland body shop opened up!
  • This was the funniest video in a long time. Had me laughing. Cleet trying to play along with the 90%-10% in the parking lot was gold.
  • @UncleSam1732
"I didn't short you, you know better than that." Gotta love Sam
  • @mckrackin5324
I'm literally in tears. lol... Sam says "That's not a good ratio but you go right ahead". Quality content as always. This made my day.
  • @tysoncodes
"It's a good deal" ... "Did it come with 1500 in the glove box?" hahaha
  • In all damn honesty.. this is one of my most favorite episode.. I love how fearless, effortless and careless these series come out to. Tow trucks and Bodywork... the option to do all that... That really is Freedom!!!
  • Its like a Michaelangelo, exquisite lines. We need bondo sculptures of Cleet and Squirrel next.
  • As a body tech I’ve never thought of hardening a hole can and stuffing it in a void… that’s GENIUS! Just added a new trick to the arsenal 😅
  • @MikeStan
From one professional auto body man to another, great job guys. I would suggest going to Home Depot and using spray foam first to fill the gap then use 2-3 buckets of bondo. That's what my family shop has been doing for 30+ years
  • Squirrel and Cleet are hands down my favorite YouTube personalities to date!

Founded in 1975 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Choo Choo Customs turned utilitarian vans into luxurious conversions that made the highway miles soar by. It added second-row captain’s chairs, jazzed-up stereos, and eventually video game consoles to its freeway flyers. Soon, the company also began customizing short-bed pickups, crew-cab dualies, and Suburbans. The Suburbans could be optioned with many of the same amenities as the vans—including deluxe upholstery and high-roof

I LOVE the back and forth between George/Cleet and Sam 😂 He's trying so hard to play along with the joke but you can tell his soul is dieing 😂😂

I went to school to be a body technician. I even taught body work at a local high school career center. I can honestly say I learned something today. Folding tables can collapse, Tarps will burn with brake clean, and you can mix filler by the gallon. I’m excited to watch the paint video to learn what I’m doing wrong, because I always use primer and sometimes a sealer before paint. I can save hundreds of dollars I been wasting on those products. I vote Cleet and Squirrel start a Taco truck next. 🇺🇸🦅🏁🐊💸

Choo Choo Customs was actually hired by GM to make the SS El Camino. Along the same lines as when SLP partnered with GM to make the factory Pontiac Firehawk. GM had offered an El Camino SS but it looked like every other El Camino so they contacted Choo Choo Customs to fix that. Choo Choo Customs took the regular El Caminos and put rally wheels and sport mirrors on them as well as a polyurethane nose like the one found on the Monte Carlo SS. They slapped decals on the tailgate, doors, and nose and added an emblem to the dash. Choo Choo did a lot of luxury conversions on vans in the late 70s and 80s and they did the El Camino SS conversions from 1983 to 1987 when production of the El Camino stopped.
