I was sleeping in a hammock in Cascadia at the beginning of this month and an earthquake woke me up. The 2 trees I was suspended from were bouncing towards and away from each other, the initial jolt launched me up a bit and I woke up to landing back in the hammock before it continued to bounce for 2.5 minutes roughly.
