I've been making your kaolin clay cleansing balm now for three years and I absolutely love it!

Fantástica!!! Hice la primera fórmula y ya me desmaquillé y me quedó la cara estupenda... Muchas gracias 😘
  • I made #2 - I love it. You do need to use a wash cloth.... but it works great for taking off makeup.

I love to make the Second Formulation!

I love your videos and your style! I appreciate your attention to detail and clear approach. I would like to keep the cleansing balm in a jar and would like to add a natural preservative. On the blog post you mentioned 1% phenoxyethanol, but I wonder if you could recommend a natural preservative. Thank you very much!

    Wow!! 😻😻😻😻❤️❤️❤️❤️
  • Have you tried any of these with the Olivem 1000 you mentioned as a substitution? I’m curious if the “soaping” effect I hear it has could be a plus in this formulation. I’ve had a small bag of Olivem 1000 for months, but I always seem to choose BTMS or emulsifying wax NF over it, because they’re more predictable. This might be the perfect project for me to try it out though. :)
  • Thank you! I made them and love them! Can you recommend a preservative? I like to use this in the shower❤.

I made the second recipe and love it! I was wondering what you think the effect will be if I swap the Ewax for olivem1000. Will I need any other alterations?

I want to make #3, would doubling the ingredients in this batch to have a larger yield affect any part of the process or the final product?

These are gorgeous! I love this emulsifer in face cleansers.

Thank you! I will try this week, I love cleansing balms and was planning to make one as soon as I finish up the last of my store bought version. Almost there!
