Thanks for the shout out !! I, too, plan on spending lots of time outdoors this year. This winter has been a long one. I am also giving thought to moving to a country town....fingers crossed. :)
  • @JP1970
Oh heck yes! Sounds like some good rides planned! Ride, ride, ride!👽
  • @ianferrier235
Nice Ron, yes the wife and I are planning to do some more moto camping, hopefully it works ok.Thanks Ron

Just started to warm up here in the UK and all but stopped putting salt down on the roads so we're all starting to head out and enjoy the better weather. Ride safe everyone.
  • @MuzzleMike

  • I"m with you on getting out as much as possible! Lots of spring , summer and fall plans already! One of our big trips will be out to Seattle and on to Mt. Rainier to hike~ Lots of camping trips lined up already , soooo looking forward to it ! We love camping and hiking in Virginia! Such a beautiful state:) Happy Hiking and Riding!

Good to see you out on the bike. Apologies if you’ve already updated on a video and I missed it. but wanted an update on your planed trip to and through Alaska. We’ve been riding for the past 6 wks or so in Austin. Weekend rides and outdoor music are in full force
  • Great to see you Brother! Since I have transitioned to work from home, I don't put as many miles on the bike. Last weekend I went to Yorktown and rode some of the Colonial Parkway. Planning on more outdoor activities as well. I have all those Solo Stoves so I might as well use them.
  • @RVAHikerGirl
NIce to see you riding to work. You know what they say about Virginia. If you don't like the weather one day, just wait til tomorrow because it will be totally different. #LifeinVirginia. ~RVA~
  • Nice to see you back out on two wheels Ron. I'm planning a flying visit to the North of England in a few weeks from now, taking in some well known passes in the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. That will entail a run up from Dublin to Belfast, a ferry to Scotland and a drive into Northern England. Four days tops including travelling time so short and sweet.
  • It is fun going to work on a bike, but it’s just the change of clothes that can be a pain sometimes. Yep, Randy did have to navigate around some serious potholes. Sounds like you have some nice rides planned.
  • You definitely have to record the trail.. I'd love to go to the memorial too.
  • Looks like a fairly relaxed commute, wish I had one like that in the evening when heading into DC! Really would like to get up to Shanksville on the bike some time to see that memorial. Haven't ridden that much yet this year, between the weather and having to get new tires on the Bonnie (the day we met up back in October was the start of 2500 miles in 8 days, those tires were pretty well shot afterward, think I had around 6000 on them when I set out on that trip). No definite trip plans yet, PA some time around mom's birthday, and if I can swing it I'd love to hook up with Stoney on his WV ride. Maybe a day trip at some point, would like to get over to Dover AFB to see their museum there, I noticed they have an F101 Voodoo on display, I've never seen one of those.
  • I’ll be riding to work tomorrow morning. High of 63 and supposed to be windy. Call me. The redfish are biting right now.
  • @advphilnb
Nice!! Great to see you back on the bike, and planning some adventures. I also think fuel prices will encourage more moto commutes and travels. Hoping to get my KLR out in a few weeks. Stay warm and dry, and keep well!
  • @pinkiewerewolf
I wear my Badlands Pro as an over pant. It’s more comfortable with only a light mod layer under but it works for me over pants too. The bikes have been going hot & heavy out here the past month and I think I only took a 6 week break from the long rides this Winter.
  • My plans are. one day ride with you and box of chocolates .. camping would be nice
