After our previous video, Hans got a flat tire while heading home with our Riverine Patrol Boat. We decided to fly the Blackhawk up with the replacement tire and get the truck back on the road!

Sounds like Hans needs to go get his pilots license. Heā€™s always around so good investment

I'd like to point out, not only does "not everybody have a blackhawk", not everybody has a 7 ton, or a fire engine with 52" tires

I think its time for a new set of rubber all the way around. 2 blown on the steer axle is definitely a sign.

I am a retired A&P mechanic. I spent 45 years working on helicopters. Loved every minute of it. I have many hours of flight time and I really miss it.
  • @docfmb1
you parked that better than most people park their cars in between the lines.

I believe you need a stc for a cargo hook for both choppers. You could deliver tools, supplies, tires, generators etc at any site. The hooks are located on the center of gravity ( cg ) right along the center line of the main rotor mast making it easy to calculate your useful load along with your fuel load, pilot weight, operating altitude and mission distance. The chopper could had delivered jacks tools and tires right to the site. No need for the tow truck at all. Iā€™m a retired A&P, IAā€¦

Dave: ā€œoh darn we have to fly the Blackhawk. Thatā€™s unfortunateā€ šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Damn, Hans deserves a bonus for his dedication & commitment on this trip alone. Good job Hans šŸ»

I love this crew. So many great personalities.

I'm all for using the black hawk for simple things like this. It's like when someone has an exotic sports car but always garage keeps it and never drives it. So hey. Blackhawk actuslly getting used, nice. Thats sickšŸ˜ŒšŸ‘ŒšŸ½

Why is hans not training to be your secondary pilot for the blackhawk. What a significant use and help that would be. Hans is already an obvious great hand that would just increase his value.
  • Itā€™s truly impressive and feels badass when I do (or see another dude)complete a complex logistical problem, then go home to my family and act like nothing was complex or time consuming at work. Itā€™s the sign of a good dude, IMO.
  • By far the best Conflict of Nations commercial I have ever seen. You gotta love the wizard and Diesel Dave. šŸ˜‚

There is never a dull moment with you guys. Best stuff on video! Love watching.

Loved this video. Also, "How to justify helicopter as a business expense" would have been a good title ;-)
  • @LionMayne98
Hanz really could have just took one of the back tires off and put it in the front without having to use a Blackhawk but itā€™s a good excuse I guess to fly it lol
  • @BRUTE7
7-tons can drive with 4 tires on improved roads and paved. We had kits put together where you have 2 long black rods, wood block, and bottle jack. You used the rod to hold the flat tire up. They are designed to take the tires from the middle to fix flats.
  • I just love how you are like dude i popped the tire hey, letā€™s take the black hawk and change it
  • @IrishGaucho
This video is the definition of "because I can" and I fully support it :D
