My son, who is mechanically inclined only buys used Lexi with 50k-75k. He knows what to look for, not wanting an abused car. He has 1 now in the 200k range that he bought with 80k. Mechanicals going strong, but the fru fru stuff starting to age. PHENOMENAL VALUE.

If you're looking at a Beamer, especially the M series, another cost that may be overlooked, is the cost of insurance!
  • I’m on my second Lexus. Neither has ever needed anything more than oil changes and routine maintenance. Lexus truly takes it to a different level in quality. The only place I would wish they would improve is the paint jobs, but if you constantly maintain the paint, your Lexus will laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast…
  • Absolutely worth buying a used Lexus as long as it’s in good condition and taken care of. But this applies to any used car. If you get something that’s been abused and has problems it can be just as terrible to sort out as anything. I’ve owned my es350 for 10 years and had it since it was 5 years old and put lots of miles on it. I have had no real problems just regular maintenance.
  • My 2015 GS350 F Sport was previously owned. Purchased it in 2020. Now approaching 100K flawless miles. Great automobile!

Lexus is a Toyota with premium materials, extra sound dampening, and luxury suspensions. so yes it’ll always be reliable as long as the previous owners did basic maintenance
  • My ‘07 IS250 had 357,223 when she was rear ended. Was still driving like formula car after the crash!! Tig welded aluminum radiator, silicon coolant hoses, water pump, thermostat, new tires, interior new dash under warranty, leather seats 9/10. 350 brake kit w/stainless steel lines & ice cold AC with original compressor. Yup... she was a head turner 😏 Never had any issues with the engine. I used to hammer on her from day until night.
  • Mark, I bought a 96 Lexus SC400 with 162K miles and it was in mint condition. I put over 200K miles on it before some dumb broad texting and driving ran the stop sign and totaled my car. The odometer had 397K miles and still running strong. It really comes down to looking for the problem areas of the specific model you're looking to buy to avoid headaches and repairs. I bought a 97" SC400 for my mother as a Christmas gift years ago and again it had 150k miles and with 207K on it now the car is super reliable. Marky Mark this is why I say Lexus for life Baby!

  • I own both an 06 ls430 and 2011 rx350. Kept both of them in mint condition and no major issues so far. Highly recommend

Great video. I am in Europe and have an Is300h, from 2014, near 300.000 km, only thing got worn out was a seal from water pump. I changed the complete pump for 200 €. Believe it or not that’s the total of malfunctions I’ve had until today. The hybrid battery died after 8 years/around 200.000 km total. I got it changed free of charge ( yes free of charge ) since I made previously an extend warranty of it (150€) . A plain, professional and honest after sales service helps a lot whichever brand you get.
  • 16 months ago, I bought a 2013 Lexus ES 350 with 35k miles on it. 1 owner, garage-kept, like new. Paid $21k for it. Now has 47k miles on it. I keep it garage kept, detailed, but since I moved much closer to work I only put about 50 miles a week on it now. I can attest that the 3.5L V6 is one of the best NA V6's ever made, very refined with smooth reliable power. I did put aftermarket wheels on it, black with machined accents that make it look more like a F-Sport, even though there was no F-Sport option in 2013, and it handles better with the 18x8.5" wheels. Only problem I had was the bearing in the idler pulley dried up and went south. So I bought a new idler pulley and tensioner pulley while I was at it, and new drive belt, and all-in spent $120 and did them all. Besides basic maintenance, that's all I've spent on the car. It is a great balanced car to drive, pretty much my favorite car that I've owned. Looks good, feels good, gives me a chub.

In our family stable we had 3 Lexi. One was sold with 275,000 mi. One has 220,000 now and is turning into a rat rod and fassst. One is a 3 year old UX with 30,000 mi. We are extremely delighted with our Lexi choices we also have two perfect 2020 Honda Civics with 60K. Good reviews, bro. 🇨🇦
  • Hey i have an is250 2012 model and i had it for 2 years now. And i see no problems. Works perfectly, and i maintain it. Great car
  • I owned a Volvo and it was the bane of my existence. Making the decision to purchase a Lexus was the best I’ve ever made in a luxury car. It’s very stylish, classic and reliable! You will not be disappointed, Lexus does not miss.
