Crews removing first pieces of Baltimore bridge collapse debris

Crews are working to remove the first portion of the Baltimore bridge wreckage - the starting point in a complicated, extensive cleanup process that could help open up a temporary channel to get more vessels into the water around the collapse site, officials said.     Likely that the still standing portion of the Key Bridge will also be demolished. The replacement bridge will probably look quite different and be much wider and taller.
  • The crew is still on board because you can't just power down the ship. Television news coverage has become so vapid that I can't even watch it anymore.
