1 bulb of onion
vegetable fat
3 cloves of garlic
1 kg minced meat
Salt, ground black pepper, dried ground paprika, dried ground herbs de Provence, parsley to taste
400 grams of tomato sauce
300 grams of cream cheese
1 egg
10 g dried ground garlic
100 g parmesan cheese
6 pieces of lasagne sheets
400 grams of mozzarella cheese

  • I irefer ricotta cheese instead if cream cheese. I also don't add paprika to the meat. I use oregano, basil, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and a 1/2 tsp of sugar to counter any acid that the tomato sauce will add.

    I just wanted to let you know that I made this dish last night exactly as instructed. What a great meal. I would love it if you could add how many servings the recipes provide or the size of ovenware used. This was a hit with the family and we did not have any leftovers. Wanted some for lunch today--so disappointed. Will definitely make it again.

    I put lots of red and yellow peppers chopped up small. A courgette and 3 onions. I make my own white sauce and add mozzarella cheese to tbe saucr plus i use dried herbs.

  • Die Zutaten klingen gut, sieht aber recht trocken aus, vielleicht könnte mehr Tomatensosse helfen?
  • Well done for this lasagne. Here in Malta we do it often, but i d like to point out that using 1kg of minced meat requires a larger dish. 12 sheets of lasagne, also, instead of cream chesse we use fresh ricotta which is cheese. I like to add some cooked spinach to the ricotta and some grated Parmesan. Also 1pint of white sauce (bechamel) to spread on every pasta sheet. Your lasagne is beautiful and good. Thank you.     Way too little yield for all that work! Double up and use a normal casserole dish! Layering is a little out of order but it still looks great.
