I'm from the UK, so have no dog in the fight we suck at basketball. I get it the NBA is the NBA best players in the world are in the USA team but isnt it wild to think a sport played around the world is only ever gonna have scrubs in every country apart from USA. I'm expecting them to win gold without a doubt but I dont see how everyone thinks they will or are supposed to just roll over everyone.

South Sudan has very tall and athletic players, coached by Lual Deng, who was a star at Duke and a solid NBA player for years. He's invested a lot of money and time into growing basketball in that country. To think USA was supposed to beat them by 40 makes no logical sense unless you have no knowledge of what Sudan has been building.

These dream team lovers forget that it's not the 90s anymore🤣 there are so much improvement when those teams played these countries. Even the past 3 league mvps were not Americans.
