The current is about 1,500A.

very nice !! made. Wat kind of thick wire you are using? Please could you also make a ironfile pattern of only one perpendicular thick wire through a paper?

What you see is the reaction that mass has to the field. Mass channels the field through itself and lines up a reaction by other mass, so this contaminates the field in a big way. I am saying that mass creates what you see, even if it is caused by a field. It is not the field itself that looks like that.
