It's extraordinary how accurately you can describe a stranger like me. It makes me realize that being isolated or a lone wolf is not unique and we're all ironically ....not alone!
  • Over the last 15 years, I have really consulted several YouTube channels and, above all, psychology and philosophy books in search of answers to many questions. Congratulations on having a channel that feels and sounds like one of the few in the crowd that gets to the heart of things perfectly.
  • I'm a happy INFJ hermit! Almost all points applicable and I don't feel guilty at all! I'm at peace in my solitude, but never lonely! ❤️🙏

Thanks for the hard therapy. I'll try to heed your words.💜

Just stumbled onto your channel. Lovely job! I'd bet we have genetic memory of a time when being in step with the rest of the village/clan was a matter of survival. That was before self-checkout lanes at the grocery store. Happy to be standing alone together with you!
  • Love this video, profoundly resonating. Discovering oneself, is a messy business & one where you learn courage along the way. As a little boy, I was often told I had an old head on young shoulders - bizarre, when you consider being an ‘adult’ in a child’s body & surrounded with children your own age! - that’s enough to be in isolation. I can’t relate to 95% of people, only with the physical concept, that we all bleed red. It is indeed, another world out there, one where it seems, that people are only interested in entertainment & amusing themselves, instead of finding themselves. I have always felt this way. A couple of my key areas of growth; was when I married a wonderful woman 32 years my senior - I was 19 & she was 51. The ridicule inflicted on us for not fitting in with societal norms…haha, that was when I didn’t give a shit what people said or thought. We were married for 32 years, until she died in 2021. I nursed her through the journey of Alzheimers for five years, which was another indescribable & profound acceleration of personal growth, namely the isolation from the outside world. Caring for someone, has its own unique challenges, which do not fit in with ‘normal’ society. Then, as you mentioned, the trauma of grief, which is just love, with nowhere to go…..I AM at total peace. I wholeheartedly appreciate your video, Fraya, it has given my a tiny glimpse back, as to how far I have travelled & how incredibly powerful it is, to be in solitude 🙏🧡
  • Very accurate Fraya. Reconnecting with Golf. Very healing sport and now I coach it.

😅 You speak many truths. Many of us belong to a club and don't even know it. In this club we all wear a cloak of unique separateness to shield our inner being.
