  • I remember the day the first pond video came out. I said to my self,"i cant wait to see when this pond is done" and here we are a year later
  • In permaculture they make sure the pond has sufficient clay deposits to make the pond permeable. Leaking slowly to build up ground water further down. They also build the dam high in the terrain to gain the highest amount of groundwater. Kentucky is blessed with generally abundant precipitation year-round so it is not something to worry about, but in dry areas this can rebuild depleted groundwater and create water abundance with minimal rainfall. For creating a rigid pond, planting trees on the top of the pond wall will help the structural integrity. The introduction of the fish will also help with reducing mosquito population, and the soil on the bottom of the pond can be used as potent fertilizer with high nitrogen rich soil. Not sure if i provided any information that you do not know already, but anyway love the project and the video. Much love from Norway.
  • Its kinda crazy ive been watching Kendall's videos since i was around 14yo now I'm 21 watching him build his own pond on his own property!
  • @user-ux5lb7dv8z
Kendall, you might want to put a fish cover over that drain so all your fish doesn’t drain out
  • Fishing videos are always my favorite but whenever kg is involved it makes it 15 times better
  • The fossil trees you threw in the pond are Lepidodendrons, 300 million year old tree-sized clubmosses, which lines up perfectly with the coal mining. Forests like these are what formed the coal, during the Carboniferous.

I’ve watched a TOONNNNN of YouTube in my day and I’ve never been more excited than to see the progress of this pond. I pray for tons and tons of prosperity for you Kendal and this amazing plot of land!
  • East TN here awesome pond Love how you guy's worked through the setbacks together and didn't let it get you down. That's what makes it enjoyable and meaningful you'll always have those memories with your Dad and family. OH and for the bear name him Chewbacca
  • @tamibell4325
I'm only 2 minutes in and I love this already!!!❤ I helped my Dad build our 3 acre pond that had a natural spring. But sadly we sold our huge orange Grove, tangerines, grapefruit, creek and gorgeous pond/spring! I think of often and dream of having that again. Ok, can't wait to see the rest of your video! You are truly a fantastic narrator and story teller!❤ My Dad actually stocked our natural spring pond with some massive fish! It was incredible after a couple of years!❤
  • @Stubby1085
Looks great, and cant wait to see it stocked with fish. It seems like it was a bit of a headache, but between this and Bama bass I’ve learned so much for my own pond building project. So thanks for taking us through the journey.

As someone who has never had an interest in fishing, I love how excited this guy is about it. Great video, very entertaining!
  • The pond progression is looking good I. The next step is the fish. Then your off and running. Brilliant, outstanding big K. You've got me hooked.
