Cambodian-style Pork Ribs With Lemongrass | khmer food cooking

This is best over charcoal, but I tend to bake these during the winter month when it's too cold or rainy outside. The advantage with the oven method is that you'll have better control with the heat and it still comes out very tender and moist.

Recipe:
3 lb Pork Ribs ( I’m using pork spareribs, but will also work for St louis style and baby back ribs)
1/2 cup oyster sauce (This is the brand I use ➡️ amzn.to/3OU6QqB)
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp chicken bouillon/seasoning
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 cup kroeung

Recipe for Kroeung:
2 stalk lemongrass
1 whole garlic (10-12 cloves)
1 tbsp galangal
1 tbsp kaffir lime leaves
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp turmeric

Direction:

Step 1:
Marinate for at least 4 hours

Step 2:
Bake 375℉ for 1 hour and 20 min (or until pork is tender). Occasionally, baste the ribs.

Step 3:
Served with rice & salad
