This scene perfectly shows what its like being an awkward teenager in a love scenario minus all the fictional stuff such as your crush actually liking you!

The way MJ looked at Peter and walked away after the kiss and Peter walked away sums up the teenage life. She walked away in excitement without showing it yet couldn't hide it while he may have felt like he won the world over (completely ignoring the fact that he had saved it in the first place). Nothing mattered to them in that moment and even if Ned had seen them, it wasn't a competition per Ned, it would have made the situation even more "teenage awkward" and more light-hearted. Very well executed scene which shows the humane side within responsible people. WOW!
  • This sweet and wholesome moment was perfect for this movie..especially because they put it in the perfect place and time

i love this scene sm because in other cheesy series someones first kiss always looks like theyre eating each other and this shows exactly that they have no idea what they can and cant do and it has an awkward atmosphere and its very realistic.
  • This was the most awkward yet most adorable sence I have ever seen before! Tom and Zendaya are amazing!

Watching this back after no way home literally made me cry with sadness but happiness at the same time.

And their final kiss was when Peter had to sacrifice everything to save his world 😔

I love how like cute and awkward it is cause it makes it feel so much more real. Most movies with a teen romance has the first kiss be like a full like make out with like big music or in like a romantic setting and it’s just so fake. Like that’s never how anybody’s first kiss goes. It’s usually kinda awkward at first and they did such a good job showing exactly what it feels like. I love this scene so much
  • MJ showing up with a weapon like that to "help" Peter out was pretty cool.

While she is nothing like the Mary Jane in the comics I grew up with, I really don't care here. She's very good. And she fits perfectly with Peter in a way that the comic book MJ never seemed to (at least to me). She's awkward and cute, bright, with problems she wants to work through with Peter, because she likes him so much. That's a real motivation for them to share a relationship--unlike the disco dancing redhead of the '70s. This is a change that actually works, and improves on the original.
  • Everyone's dream is to kiss the crush of their dreams after beating a supervillain.

omgggg peters little happy dance he did whilst he was walking off at the end, andrew's peter did the same little happy dance after organising something with gwen for the first time<333
  • They may have not had a long relationship but I have to say that this scene is super cute to watch

Excuse me but HOW IN THE WORLD does Zendaya pull off being a teenager so freaking well? I mean the look the speech the mannerisms, and then I see her in like, the Greatest Showman and I totally buy that she's in her mid 20s. HOW?!

He seems so happy after the kiss 😂😂😂😂

“I like it better broken” The saddest foreshadowing from a Marvel movie I know of.
