Another interesting set of finds Luke from Betty's property. Great to see the Equinox 800 back in action again. Good on young Dominic finding the racing pigeon leg tag. I look forward to seeing what else you find in this spot as well as the new area belonging to Betty's neighbour. Asking permission to search and building trust with the local community is paramount. Hi Luke, I was out detecting last week and I also found a Scientific Navy type Boston Mass object, apparently it is from an old wall intercom and the brass part is from an ear piece. It dates back to around the 1920s, I hope this helps!

Another great hunt with lot's of relics and a few coins from Betty's paddock.Perhaps a Sovereign next time.The memory of finding a gold coin never leaves you. I found a pigeon ring once and e-mailed the details through,but never had a reply.Cheers.

Im glad ive got you on notifications, I keep forgetting your midweek video's have become, what I hope is going to be a continually occurring thing, plus half the time I dont know what day it is anyway!... I swear a bloke could blindfold you, drive you around in circle's for an hour, plonk you in the middle of a paddock, remove the blindfold, and you'd say "I know this place, its one of my permissions. Either that or the landowner would jump the fence and say..."You wouldn't happen to be a detectorist would you"... Permission No 781 Tick!. Great site Luke!
