Non - Itchy Laing - Dried Taro Leaves in Coconut Milk. Originated in Bicol Region became popular all over the country and so it created different versions depending from which region & taste. Non - Itchy Laing | Dried Taro Leaves in Coconut Milk
Ingredients:
Wash Dried Taro Leaves/ Laing
Boiled Water - enough to submerge dried leaves
75 grams - dried Taro Leaves/ Laing

Parboil Pork Belly
Water - enough to submerge ingredients
400 grams - Pork Belly
1 tsp - salt
1 tbsp - vinegar

Sauteing
***parboiled Pork Belly
1/2 cup - water
1 tbsp - olive oil
1/3 cup ginger
1/3 cup - garlic
1/2 cup - shallots/onions
2 tbsp - spicy chilis
1/2 cup - small dried shrimps
2 tbsp - Boneless Fish Sauce
2 big cans coconut milk (400ml/can)
2 cups - water
***washed Laing
1 big can - full cream evaporated milk (385ml)
1 tsp - chicken powder
6 pcs - spicy chilis for garnish

Cooking Time: approximately 1 &1/2 hour
