Unfortunetly part 2 disproves this theory. Mainly because prison mark recognizes the player character. This means you're playing as the same person between in space and heist and you meet darkiplier in heist.

Spoilers for Part 2: I love how Part 2 confirms some of this and contradicts a lot of the conclusions. MatPat specifically NAILED IT with the Celine = Dorene connection, which was confirmed in the "Let Go" ending of Part 2 when she quotes Damien: "I bet you're wondering if you made the right choice. Well, it's like my- like an old friend used to say, life is ours to choose."

Anyone else think that Old Man Mark is Warfstache in disguise ?? They both love stabbing, they’re both eccentric, and in Heist Warfstache gives us a bell 🛎 and tells us he’ll be back if we ring it and in In Space we ring the bell🛎 in the diner and Old Man Mark is in the booth.

In the fact that "we are darkiplier"; our hands don't change. In "a heist" our hands changed to women, men, white, black, but in "in space" we have seemingly masculine hands during the whole show

Actor Mark appears briefly in a "meta" ending. If you keep opening the doors the voice tells you to, you eventually end up behind the scenes on set, stumble upon Actor Mark, then are glitched back to the warp core door

I like how Mat said that he was not in part 2 but in fact played a MAJOR role in part 2.

It's really genius, Mark has unintentially made it so viewers have to watch all of his content to find the clues to the story, even in podcast episodes, we find hints.

Something I find interesting is in the initial ending, if mark dies, the rest of it is pretty normal, with you able to fix the ship and be safe in the end. Once mark is removed, things ended the best way they could. That is of course, until we reset again

Markiplier Should have copyrighted MCU(Markiplier Cinematic Universe) , that kind of foresight would have changed the entire world.

Matpat, I just played part 2 and I love all the cameos you had. You really nailed acting it all out and me and my friend were laughing our heads of at space theory. Great job!
