I love that Chris has helped me realize that my car is not as scary to understand like some impossible math equation that I thought it was. Saving me tons of money and I'm finally learning about my car and how it works lol.
  • It's strange that 25k people would thumbs down for a gentleman providing a cleaning tutorial. That's bloody barmy
  • @fakedat9233
Been stupidly depressed and anti social. Never thought car videos would cheer me up. I think Chris’s happy attitude and love for what he’s doing is why he’s such a great teacher
  • @DamBevers
This video is a masterclass in making a YouTube video. The contest is almost irrelevant. It's Chris's awesome attitude and personality, and the way he delivers the content that grabs you, holds your attention, gives you hope that you are fully capable of doing a dreaded task all by yourself, and gifts you the skills to get it done. I am a medium-to-advanced DIYer and I never stop learning something from Chris. Thank you!

My friend's do not understand why I spend so much time fixing and cleaning my 289,000 mile 1999 Honda Odyssey EX mini-van. I tell them, "Because Chris Fix is teaching me how to make the damn thing last forever". You're one hell of a good mechanic and I appreciate all of your vids. Thank you.
  • I love how his videos are timeless, it doesn't seem like this video is 3 years old at all
  • @phoenixquest2315
Most positive engine cleaning video, I have ever seen. 6 years later watching this, and loved the energy you demonstrated in this video, well done!

I can’t believe that you’re still replying to comments to a three year old video. I really like how you’re positive btw
  • @yusufsyed2768

I'm building out my garage so that I can work on my car more effectively thanks to you and Cleetus. Thanks for everything you do, Chris. You're a national treasure.

  • @Kevinintheback
Great video dude. I'm a professional mechanic for Lamborghini and Aston Martin Beverly hills. I wanted to let you (and everyone else) know that in my professional opinion, from a mechanical standpoint, every caution and every recommendation was accurate. (About covering the engine, not spraying connectors and the components you mentioned with high pressure water, using the right protectant for plastics and rubber) seriously... well done. I learned a couple things too. :)
  • @danicai
One of the best tutorial I have ever seen. Organized, deep, detailed, right to the point and well explained.
  • @dshinpv
