Great saw, she handled it well in fairness, i have a stihl 28 inch light on mine and the the 25 inch light that came with it. I love the 500i.

Hi Mike. 36 inch bar for those big rounds makes sense. Sure seemed to have plenty power. I bet it clumsy. Make sure you always sharpen it with a hand file so that chain will last longer. The bar and chain got to be 250-275. Maybe I am way off. Kind of fun to see it work. Later .Al

I put a 36” bar on my 362 for cutting ice (spearing holes). After seeing this, I am going to put it on the 500I and tackle some big rounds.
