Groot became a fan favorite right away despite, or perhaps because, he can only say the simple phrase "I am Groot". Now, so far in the MCU we've seen only two people able to fully understand the little twig - Rocket and Thor. What I want to know is, can you or I learn to speak Groot? Could it be a REAL language? (Are you a sponge or something else?) In what context would you say any of this to another human being? No idea, but it's kinda funny.

There are also languages where meaning can depend on hand motions, facial expressions, or other visual stimuli as well. "You're an idiot" means something completely different if accompanied by a chuckle, smile, and a slow head shake.
