I’ve heard Armand described as someone who endures by making safe spaces for others. The Theatre, Dubai, Night Island, Trinity Gate. He protects his loved ones and makes environments where they can survive, and that gives him purpose. He’s cutthroat about it and very picky about who he brings into his protection, but once you’re in he will do anything to keep you safe.

I'm french, and I think Assad's french is pretty good in the show. I'm surprised he learned it for the show... I told my wife I think he already knows how to speak french. I guess I was wrong.

Assad is a perfect version of Armand. He is gorgeous, has that seductive look like Armand, and elegant. I loved that we get to see his full power in episode 3.
