I remember standing on the shore of Lake Garda in Italy with a massive dark sky of clouds sweeping in. The rain was a solid wall hissing across the water towards us. It was astonishing and awe inspiring to see - with people of about 6 nationalities all exclaiming to each other in our own languages - and understanding each other completely 😀

Fun fact: you can actually sometimes stand at the edge of a raincloud, it feels awesome to have one hand getting rained on and the other dry.

This happened two years ago where I live. We got 6 inches of rain in 15 minutes. It was very destructive but at the same time amazing. It didn't rain that hard with hurricane Irene. You wouldn't think the air could hold so much water.
