  • Such a complex engine design, but I'm always impressed by your knowledge.

35:28 (Tuco Salamanca) Tight! Tight! Tight! 😁 13:52 I love it! Now I wanna add a head gasket spacer to my BPY to convert it to non-interference and avoid timing chain slipping incidents. Forever
  • @dicknodnfs
I used to say this about the Mitsubishi and Subaru guys, "a turbo the size of a manhole cover". Fantastic job.
  • Nice video. I had my Mk5 R32 engine fully rebuilt including the timing chain replaced 3 years ago after 250k kms on the clock and since then driven it 30k kms as my weekend car. This engine is so sweet running with proper maintenance. I hope to drive it another 250k kms.

The VR6 is a special special engine I’m so glad you have these videos. I’ve always wanted to learn their inner workings. I’m a huge Honda guy especially for the F series 4 cylinder but I love that VR6 sound and response

I loved using the HPA R32 in Gran Turismo 4 when I was a kid. What a blast from the past
  • @skyty0
I highly recommend getting those headers coated in jet hot! I coated the headers for my FR-S because they're known to run particularly hot and I now have cooler engine bay temps than some of my friends with fully wrapped headers. It also looks suuuuper clean lol
  • @anonymic79
This is what I like, adding additional points of failure for no reason. A set of low compression pistons surely isn't as good of a solution for a boosted engine as 2 head gaskets. Well made, well designed pistons won't be weaker than stock.
  • That torque wrench has one of the most satisfying clicks I've ever heard my lord. Also cannot stress the seal part enough, I had to redo my B5 rear main 3 times because of the lip catching 😭
  • @ocdpvw1
Charles, it’s coming together and looking so good! Watching these videos really puts into perspective the length of detail you’ve put into the build and while it would’ve been awesome to see at wookies the wait will be worth the effort! Congratulations on not only saving this wookie, but taking it next level.
  • @AP9311
Last two videos of the timing and the engine build you did is a box office smash success!! 100/100!!! I love every aspect of your explanation and steps of your build! I get it totally! I'm enjoying it alot, Charles! You rock man!
