The Yankees lost again so Gary and Jake decided to also talk about trades. Is everyone in the Yankees farm system available for trade? Who could the Yankees acquire and much more.

I know i’m repeating myself but the problem here is Cashman. He’s the one who won’t use the prospect to replace slumping veterans and he is loathe to trade them

All that needs to be said about Yankees talent evaluators is Jorge Mateo how long was this guy not given an opportunity but he's a solid SS that we've needed for years

How do you guys only have 1500 subscribers? Solid, interesting, insightful conversation. Keep it up, guys, great channel that will only grow.

everyone is talking about who to get at the trade deadline but Yankees continue to play underperforming players when they have better options on the bench and in the farm. no sympathy for big contract entitlement

Also you need to realize. That Orioles 6 7 8 9 rank prospects is top 5 prospects in any organization it'll make it a lot easier for them to trade without giving up Jackson or mayo

Verdugo’s lazy fielding is driving me insane. There was a hit that bounced off the wall that he just stopped and watched Grisham field. He saw it bounce and just gave up. That just sums up Verdugo for me.

Why oh why is DJ Donaldson still in this lineup please find another injury for him

I will be surprised if the yankees play over 500 ball by the end of the year
  • Gary, you are absolutely right. But Spencer will not be the 'Bomber' saver of the NYY. A Bigger trade should come along with...

How do you guys feel about us trying to get Urshela for 3rd base. I want to hear your feedback.

This is simple, but hard to accept. First, this team is not constructed to win it all. Is it POSSIBLE? Yeah, okay, but all the IF’S required for that to occur are astronomical, let’s be real. Reality is we have 2 players carrying the load offensively, decent starting pitching with Cole and a rookie, and a currently average bullpen. We should make the playoffs, but that’s probably it. Hate to say it, but I’m of the opinion Soto goes elsewhere next season, but not so much for the $$$, but a better chance to win ( LAD, PHL), so if the housecleaning that I think should happen, the team will need prospects like Dominguez, Jones, Ramirez, Vivas, Rice, Hampton etc. to fulfill Hal’s dream scenario of league minimum heaven. That is unless Grand Master Cashman panics at the deadline, for overpriced vets that can’t handle NY
  • TRADE THEM ALL!!!!!! MY FUTURE LINE-UP...... 1. SS R VOLPE 2. RF L SOTO 3. CF R JUDGE 4. 1B L RICE 5. DH R STANTON 6. LF S DOMINGUEZ 7. C L WELLS 8. 3B R LOMBARD JR 9. 2B S ARIAS BENCH - OF - JONES IF - ??? C - ???

Of course, to answer your question. They will gladly trade a 21 year old prospect for a 33 year old has been. Probably done it more than any other team.
  • @inutero10
Nestor definitely pitches like a number 2 ill give him that
  • @foghatrocks
When Soto and Verdugo walk at the end of this season we are going to need Jones and Dominguez.

The Yankees are in the talent hole because their is a Yankee tax.GM's ask more of the Yankees than other organizations for their players, it doesn't help the Yankees over rate thier prospects. Also I'm free agency they get the wrong guys they could've had Harper but signed dj instead, also I think Matt Blake is a great developmental pitching coach should be at triple A but need a David cone at the ML level. This has been the same team since 2018 judge featuring nobodies then judge and Cole featuring nobodies now it's judge Cole Soto featuring nobodies. They need an organizational overhaul. Philosophy, fundamentals, development

💯 on Sheffield Jr’s take on the “all in”concept. Hal’s Yankees have never been all in since 2009. After George died, the focus has been on grow revenues, cut costs as much as possible, get to the playoffs, and if they go far great if not that’s fine too. The priority will never be WS or bust under Hal.
