We took Oliver to a swimming pool for the very first time! Watch as he decides whether he wants to go into the water or not...

"What part of I don't like water does these two seem to not comprehend?" - Oliver

As he's floating there he's looking at you like "I am SO pooping in your shoes later"

Oliver has to be the cutest dog on the face of the earth. I’ve had 5 beagles over my life and I thought they were cute, but Oliver is adorable

Having a beagle myself, I was skeptical about this. "No way" is right! My guy doesn't care one bit if treats are involved, he is not going in or on the water. Kudos to brave Oliver! 👏 👏👏

Oliver’s Dad: “Hey, Oliver, wanna go swimming?” Oliver: I refuse to dignify that with an answer. How dare you interrupt my special window time with such insinuation?

Oliver gets an A+ for getting in the pool! Bless his land-loving ❤️
  • Oliver always listens, 'thinks' and observes everything very carefully, especially, if something is new for him, but he is always extremely patient - awesome. But at the end he is doing, what his daddy expects him to do, because the most important for Oliver is, to make his family happy, always caring for him so lovely, 'CS' from Germany. 😉🙋‍♀️

My Gibbs has been in Beagle Heaven for five years now. I miss him terribly. Have a good trip Oliver, you are wonderful.

Takes a lot of patience to get a playfully mischievous and water-averse dog to ride on that! Kudos.

Look at that happy tail wagging when Oliver is on land!!! . I love how you interact with Oliver. So patient and loving. .
  • Oliver is so cute. He was trusting enough to step onto the float completely even if it was for a treat. Then he stood there for some floating and gliding, even though he looked frozen. His temperament is exceptional considering he didn’t really want to get out there and was happy to get off. Maybe he will enjoy the water someday with such gentleness and patience from his owner. I love watching him.

I love how Oliver's tail is poised like a sword when he is thinking. My lab mix tail forms the curved part of a question mark by his rump when he is contemplating something.

I like how he plays with his ball. He drops it himself and goes to look for it. So funny and cute🤣💜
