  • I didn’t vote for Obama but in hindsight, he was the epitome of “class.” He was well spoken, highly educated & showed a lot of poise. He was a lot better President than Biden & Trump, that’s for sure. And Michelle was an awesome First Lady ✌🏾

Politics is a nasty business. Not many make it out alive.
  • @EuryArum
Can they say yes to anything..I felt that 😂
  • Thanks PBS for making these available free and to the public online
  • @andihutson8512
They did him soooo dirty. They did all of us dirty. They're just dirty, as we now can clearly see.
  • @lovelyplus3977
President Obama came into the white house optimistic, but he did not realize that his mere existence was a challenge to the opposing side. I also think that it is weird that Obama is blamed for the lack of bipartisanship when it was the republicans that said they were against almost everything.
  • @cmaurice9133
I was a non beliver for many years. But he pulled off the impossible. Congrats Mr. President Obama in keeping the country intact and prosperity. 🎉🎉❤😊
  • Obama: "Hey guys, I might be a Democrat, but our country is in a actual serious crisis, so I put a gift together for it, with almost half of it for you guys. It will really help our countries economy be jump-started from its near death state. We should work together, we're all Americans here." Republicans: "No."
  • Regardless of your political preference, you must admit that FRONTLINE’s documentaries are amazing
  • @harrycee656
Our government leaders are here for who? The people they represent? Not when they start out "NO" regardless of what is presented.
  • Obama: “We’re going to change America!” Republicans: “No tf you’re not.”
  • I so miss this intelligent principled leader and his articulate manner of interacting with us as a country. Thank you Obama for your family circle, your historical advancement on an international level and outstanding humor. My gratitude is deep.
  • @va2347
Obama's presidency and the situation with the Republican Congress is a scary reassurance that political difference still lies strong, and parties will put politics before people without question in a heartbeat
  • @WarRior-rn4kb
6:30 "The brightest mind of the republican party debated on how to be relevant." They found the solution in Donald Trump. Their worst nightmare.
  • @Smokedship
Despite all this backlash, Obama always handled it all with class...
  • @uiolax1967
While the two parties do not get things done, the people get screwed.
  • Can't believe I missed the first go round of this program. I think my distaste for politics and its reporting filtered out this lookback. But there is nothing like hindsight and a Frontline report.
