Hilarious they fast track Tik Tok, but nothing actually important in our own country.
-
Yea they want to start a war and not have anyone oppose it , every other platform is heavily censored
-
This is disgusting instead of focusing of what they should focus on they are worried about tik tok they need to stop playing around a grow some balls and get on the real issues this country is in crisis and they worried about an app. SMH

so tiktok is an issue but china buying US land and farms is ok??

The last time they tried this there was a number of other bills attached to the ban that were absolutely crooked and the people who thought of them deserve to be in prison. I can't imagine this is any different. One of the bills would've made it illegal to do business with any company that good ol' uncle same took issue with. So,,, let's take my VPN for example. The VPN is based in Russia, with the previous ban bill if it had passed. I could've been charged with a crime because I give money to a Russian company, and I could've gotten life for it. All because Russia is fighitng with Ukraine at the moment and uncle sam don't like'm. I HATE TikTok, but I honestly don't think this attempt to ban it is any different than the previous.

US can now stop preaching other countries about FREEDOM of SPEECH.
-
Ban the federal reserve instead.
-
Just smoke and mirrors to keep us distracted.

I don't like tiktok, never even been on the app, and I think it's garbage. However, banning them seems authoritarian. Parents use tiktok as a professional babysitter so that they don't have to deal with their kids and then act all surprised when the kid's behavior changes and they get addicted to it. Tiktok didn't get your kid addicted— YOU allowed it to happen. Take some responsibility.

Americans go overseas to fight for freedom when we should be fighting for it here at home.
-
I've never used TikTok but if the US Govt wants it banned then it probably shouldn't be. I'm not keen on bought and paid for politicians telling me what platform I can and can't use for information.

After TikTok and pro-choice is banned, what’s next?

The Chinese already said that they aren’t selling it. Bye bye for American users on Tik tok😢 LOL
