the Indian Tracker Russian dialog: when diving to save Carlos: Finally, my time has come! final words: It’s fine, it’s fine. I knew this would happen. You can have my car.

Yeah, more night vale reactions! Well I'm glad that you got to finish the first year at least, the 2nd year is probably the most popular I hope you retake the series eventually
  • I have really enjoyed your reactions to Nightvale. It was also a fun excuse to relisten to these episodes. I do hope you continue with it eventually, I will definitely continue to follow it if you do

I don't know if anyone ever said this in comments on the other videos, but Cecil Baldwin is the actor's name, while Cecil the character has a different last name that hasn't come up yet. A couple other characters share first names with their VO, like Kevin.

I hope these reactions haven't been abandoned, I've only just found these reactions, would be so disappointing if it's just been dropped 😢

I'm glad you're planning on coming back to reacting to Night Vale. This has actually been the series that has gotten me back into Night Vale as I took a long break at some point.
  • @logsday
this is one of the main wtnv episodes I tend to relisten to, so seeing your reaction to it was really cool! I hope more viewers do end up coming in over time so that it's feasible for you to continue wtnv at some point :)
  • I really like your reactions. Welcome to Night Vale was a major obsession of mine from like 2012-2014, although I haven't listened to it in ages. I hope you continue on to Year Two before too long, but until then I'm gonna try and catch up with the series myself. I'm really glad you've enjoyed it so far, and I'm happy to say your videos have reignited my love for Night Vale. :)

Hope you continue these. I got behind on night vale during the pandemic and this has been a good way to get back into an old love

Time moves faster than you think when you're reacting to a series. In any case, I'm happy Cecil finally got his date with Carlos.

I don't watch these videos when they come out. I wait and binge a few at a time. But I would love to see more of them. Love your content and love welcome to nightvale.
  • @RaenefIV
These reactions have been the highlight of my week. Hope they can continue 🤞
  • @Rdotmop
It was nice to revisit Night Vale through the view of someone watching for the first time, it had been a while since I had listened (got caught up a few years ago and then didn't keep up with new episodes, will have to get back eventually) and even longer since I listened to year one. Hope the wait for you getting to year two isn't too long

Nightvale is one of those hard kind of shows where I want to see people’s reactions but it needs like slow buildup to have the payoff. For example, the Carlos “death” here doesn’t mean much if you just come into it but hits hard when you have the 24 episodes of development. I love WTNV and it is a show that builds off itself and you’ll get more out of the world the longer you stick with it. That being said too, I think the next story arc is by far my favorite so far so I hope you come back to it soon! I just found these!
  • Nightvale is so weird & unhinged & I've enjoyed taking this journey for the first time with you
  • @willowferrett
i’m so happy that their is someone who reacts to welcome to night vale i hope you make more in the future
  • @FeralVentas
I think part of why these don't have as much traction is that there isn't a lot of narrative outside of the episodic weird thing of the week for each episode until later on. I think I've suggested it before, but you might do better numbers with The Magnus Archive; it's more recent, more pointed/dramatic per episode, Shorter episodes, and you'll hit that Oh Shit There's Plot arc sooner. Either way, I'm glad you gave WTNV a shot and a fair one at that.
