Today: “This show wasn’t made for you!” Tomorrow: “Why aren’t you watching our show?”
  • @GrimGalore
"If you don't like it... Don't watch it!" YOUR TERMS ARE ACCEPTABLE
  • @sith_cake
The reason there's no backlash is because there's no one left watching it.

"This is not your world, exclusively" >Proceeds to make this world, exclusively for them

Its not bordering on misandry. It is misandry. and they can get away with it because apparently it’s ok to be sexist towards men.

"You can't ignore my chocolate-ness." Challenge accepted.

"Dr Who never for white men"... a brittish show, made for a brittish audience going back decades.

These are NOT just actors playing roles. To the contrary, they are self inserts. They are not playing characters, they are playing themselves.
  • "We all live here, so get over yourself!", Ok but I live here too. Get your own shows rather than recreating mine to suit you.

I think the New Dr who episodes should come with a seizure warning, not because of flashing lights, but because everyone's brains would shut down as a defence mechanism after seeing the stupid sh*t in the episodes

So, if I'm trans and hate this woke garbage, what 'phobia' am I guilty of?
  • @UberBri
The public backlash isn't so big because the audience is now so small.

There's a general misunderstanding. Dr Who wasn't made for any gender or race - it was made for nerds. If the BBC really wanted Dr Who to take off, they would have pandered to east Asians, who have a high percentage of nerds. Now Dr Who has surrendered its nerdy edge for mainstream identity politics. No one is talking about the plot or character development, just the politics.

Give them an inch and they take a mile. They should never have been given a chance.
