Roger not winning Wimbledon 2019 was the biggest tragedy in the history of tennis. He deserved that win.

so how old was he in 2019 like 38? he won Dubai, Miami, Halle, Basel, Final at Indian wells, had matchpoints in the final of Wimbledon after winning over Nadal in the semis in amazing fashion. reached the semis at the french. at this age grandpa Fed was perfectly able to be competitive with the absolute Best players in the world on any surface. I highly doubt something like this will be repeated. the things this man has done is just astonishing. I just looked this up on wikipedia and i literally couldnt believe it. All most of us remember is that heartbreaking loss to Djokoivc at W.. We should remember a great season of Tennis

Federer's play was very aggressive in 2019 and it brought him great results. To be honest, one of his underrated years especially at the twilight of his career!

It's actually insane to think Federer was playing this well at this point in his career. Literally 38 years old and is still playing as if he is going to win one of the biggest tournaments.

The game cannot be played as elegantly, as smooth, as classy, as beautifully by anyone else ! That's why Federer cannot be ever replaced..❤

In my opinion, this was the last healthy and top version of Roger we could see, in this tournament, before the nightmare of injuries that lead up to his sadly retirement. At the start of 2020, going into the Australian Open something was off, even though he reached the semis against Joker, but you could tell that the movement and explosiveness was not longer there and that something was happening physically.

I miss Federer. His phenomenal blend of elegance and aggression is truly unique.

I love how everyone else in tennis’ shoes are squeaking while playing then you have Roger who’s like a silent ninja.

I remember this match and this year, but the match which took place several months earlier in London is still a nightmare for me as Federer fan!!((

First and last time I saw Federer play live. So glad I went.

Had Roger won that Wimbledon and retired on that day, would have been a peRFect end to his glorious career. But life had another plans. That loss will haunt me forever.

I was at this match live and weirdly enough this was the last one I got to see him live. The crowd energy was electric and given how much pain Novak inflicted on RF and the fan base at the Wimbledon final this one felt sweet.

This was a fine revenge taken by Federer, not only he threw Djoko out of the tournament but also deprived him of the year end world number 1.
