I accidentally hooked up a direct power servo, and sent a full 12 volts through one of those dumbo receivers. Honestly couldn't believe it didn't smoke. I keep them for when my son's friends come over. At this point they are 4 years old. Got them when they were still 20$.... But their prices now are getting out of hand. Somewhere along that chain someone is putting 20$ a piece in their pocket.

Well done man. I ve been liking my GT5 but I ve been eyeing this one up!
  • Interesting and informative review from someone that raced RC cars around 15 years ago with a Futaba stick TX 😊

Great review. I love my RC4GS V2. It's good to see that there really isn't much latency. The price is great and it just works good. Thanks for going over the receivers. I have just been getting the ones with gyro but it's good to know that there is a less expensive option. I really don't use gyro either. 👍👍

you can buy this radio with reciever for the low low price of 79.99 Canadian but dont spend another 30 bucks and get the better one it has a ton of fectures but tallematry is freaken sweet to have see your batts drain on your transm. pluss lots more very nice radio
  • Great overview of the Radiolink Radio and receiver Dennis. This is no doubt the Best budget Radio out there. One of my go-to radios next to my Futaba.
  • Good radio... only problem is the battery tray ... I use 6 AA and they can fall out and disconnect.. out of control car... so I'm thinking of trying a 2s_ 3s lipo pak.
  • been using 6gs since it came out, 7 ch rx with gyro, amazing range and even farther with the 8ch rx. not to mention id seed , super easy fpv set up plug n play , tanks , excavators etc it will run anything. and even v1 can run as many rx as you want as long as your models are set up the same. v1 is 10 model memory and im running 44, been in rc since 1974 and i have futaba $$$$$$ tx ,, jr propo etc. and by far the mixing capabilities crush the competitors. waterproof your 4 and 5ch rx with conformal coating. easy to do. check out radiolink for how to setup many functions.

Could you have two of these transmitters connected to same car? So if you have a few RC rigs and there are two of you using them you can connect to one and the other person can still be able to connect to a different RC rig. My daughter and I often go out together to test my repair skills so we share all of the RC rigs and having just two transmitters would be great if that is even possible 🤷‍♂️. As you well know what each persons choice of rig of the day is always different as they are all great fun. Hope i explained it properly. Keep up the great work

Debating between this one and the Dumbo DDF-350. Have you maybe used both and can recommend one from the other? Thanks in advance?
  • Can you set up a throttle hold motor (on/off) switch?
  • @natekarr
I just put one in my 6s infraction! Glad I picked a good set up!
  • Does anybody know if this transmitter will bind to the DumboRC receivers
