I suffer from a neurological disorder that feels like I have 3rd degree burns permanently. My suffering is a gift because I feel closer to God I ever have. I followed Good Orderly Direction for 17 years of my sobriety. Then I was diagnosed while I sat watching my father pass from cancer. Now I'm born again, ready to do God's will!

When I fast that's when I feel the closest to God. I leave myself wide open to be filled by the Holy Spirit.

I just fasted for 3 days and I havent felt the holy spirit in a couple months, and i felt him strong during my fast. Thank you Jesus Christ my LORD and Saviour.

Truth. The longest fast I was able to do was 28 days. It was the hardest thing I had ever done. When I couldn't fast any longer, I was in starvation. Honestly, I'm 53, I feel like I'm in my twenties. I not only feel mentally well, I am physically well. I feel my best self. God took my hunger away when I asked. He stayed with me the whole time.
