A Tribute to Lancer (Fate/Zero)

Lancer a top tier character that needs more attention man

His death scene really showed how cruel world of fate/zero (and our world as well) really is. He just wanted one thing, to die in noble fight and even that one thing was not grented to him. Other prople wishes and goals were what made his dream fall down and let him die without being fullfilled with his life and that was really sad and painfully realistic outcome. Shows how stomping over others is sometimes needed to be done to achuve our own goals and feelings of others sadly need to be looked over or we ourselfs will be the sad in that outcome.

Just rewatched Fate zero I've always appreciated Lancer

One thing that I always found interesting about Fate/Zero's story is how some of the servants have their own history repeated from their past lives. Diarmuid has the biggest hindrance out of any servant in this story, and I'd definitely argue he is one of the most tragic characters in the story(which is saying a lot). Great video! Made me reflect a lot on Lancer's journey, one of the many reasons why Fate/Zero is my favorite anime.

His Backstory and Reborn shows us how cruel the world is. We may pour our blood, sweat and tears to our dreams but it doesn't always mean we will succeed we may go even go far but if you're not really destined for it you will never achieved that dream.

God this anime is absolutely brilliant, all of its characters have such depth and Lancer in both Zero and UBW meet such tragic, unfulfilling ends

Just finished Fate/Zero yesterday! Lancer was one of my favourite characters in this anime.

My heart cried so much for this tragic character. Such a terrible end both times despite having such a kind and big heart. My heart is torn to pieces. I have seen millions of tragic anime character but this just hit very bad.

Thanks for this one man ! He really was a true real one and his death really showed that this world the world of Fate was one of cruelty and would never hesitate to stomp on people's dreams and ambitions. Lancer will always be in my heart just like Rider as well as Fate Zero in and of itself !

...Am I the only person who wants to yell "COVER YOUR FACE! WHY WON'T YOU COVER YOUR FACE?!". Also... yikes. Poor Lancer. Poor EVERYBODY in that grail war. Except Kiritsugu and Archer. They're assholes.

before lancer dies he says i hope the grail only brings misfortune or sommet and he was right
