I love that she’s been able to find balance with her relationship. I used to want that but for me as a successful woman, I think remaining single is best.

Okay so wake it up my parent were in a relationship where my mother was primary breadwinner and my father was primary child rearing with pt and seasonal work at night. It was open communication and agreement on fathers end after my mother initiated the convo. It made sense for them and it was between them only. Was it perfect no. But that’s life and someone of her caliber being transparent about compromise and communication; as well as a hidden agenda to break up the black home… which two parent households know all to well The Take Away: respect, compromise, honesty, and growth. Mona respect her husband role and validates his existence, and contribution to the value in her life. She doesn’t measure him based on a dollar amount he worth way more to HER… that’s the sauce.

High earning women providers always have to give the husband credit for their success. If their moms and sisters were watching their kids, they’d never have to give those family members any credit. It’s very odd and new for a woman to be in this position and quite frankly, makes men seem less than when spoken about on main stage in this manner. That specific question should never be asked to a woman (with a husband) in a high position. In fact, we don’t know what that man brings home financially, but she just told us he’s a house husband. Men asked this question would laugh, unless the woman was actually there making the deals and bringing on new clients.
