As someone who is recovering from a fentanyl addiction, with 227 days clean today, I can say this moved me to tears. Thank you, Jellyroll.

I'm not a fan of his music, but man, can he talk. Brilliant speaker. I wish I could be that articulate.

My son died from an accidental overdose on Fentanyl 8 months ago, he is 20 years old and my heart feels empty without my child. Thankyou for speaking out Jelly Roll. I look for things to be grateful for everyday to find peace. Iā€™m grateful for this speech

I cannot believe that one of the most beautiful and powerful testimonies Iā€™ve ever heard came from a guy who actually goes by jelly roll. What an amazing man
  • He may have found his calling as a musician but his true calling should be motivational speaker, he is so articulate.

I donā€™t normally ever leave/make commentsā€¦ howeverā€¦ THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PUBLIC SPEAKING MOMENTS I have ever seen/heard! Jelly Roll, I honestly believe that a ā€œGreat American Politicianā€ is someone like youā€¦ like us! The type of person that has overcame their adversities with TRIUMPH and turned their lives into more than just success. You actually utilize your platform in the correct manner; which makes you MUCH BETTER than a politicianā€¦ A Revolutionary Activist! Thank you for existing, brother!

What a straight forward and a heart touching message. I don't really know Jelly Roll, but now you've gained a listener a fan and you really knocked the door on each person who listened to this awakening message.
  • @Papastudder
A man who has truly learned his lesson and wants to better the world.
  • @41illusion
That was extremely well spoken with a genuine clarity of self-awareness most people are too scared to admit to.
  • @amoeba8353
I was never a listener to Jelly Roll, but his words are profound. We must be PROACTIVE not REACTIVE.
  • @dubb7530
my past and yours Jason are QUITE similar. I too have a checkered past, conquered fentanyl and many other a drug addiction. and your speech really really resonated with me. thanks for this.
  • @lmAIone
Jason has earned all my respect for doing this. My dad passed from fentanyl on March 18th, 2020. I was 19, for 17 and a half years of my life he was not a drug addict and he was the best dad i could ever ask for. He was my best friend and now heā€™s gone because of fentanyl and shitty people. Godbless jelly roll.
  • Spoken with such grace, eloquence and compassion. How could you not sit up and pay attention to Jelly Rollā€™s testimony?! šŸ™šŸ¼

I really am glad to see someone is truly taking the fight to drugs and with such a powerful message! Jelly Roll you said something that really hit home for me when you said "sometimes it starts from an accident and having to use prescribed narcotics and then one thing leads to another" my uncle underwent double hip surgery because he drank a lot when I was growing up, and he ended up having to take prescription narcotic pills to help ease his pain and ultimately became dependent on them, and when that didn't satisfy him he decided to look for the hard drugs... he went from being a man I knew and loved to being a complete stranger, the last thing I heard about him was he got him and my other uncle hooked onto meth, and God only knows if he made his way to fentanyl, I don't know how his well-being is anymore, and I pray that he is still alive and I hope that he finds a way to kick these drugs. You have a very strong and incredible message, you are one of my favorite artists that I listen to on the daily, and I also want to say you are my personal hero! I believe in your message, and I stand behind you every step of the way on taking to taking the fight not only to fentanyl, but to every drug out there that is robbing us of our loved ones!

What an amazing testimony. We lost my brother to this issue 3 years ago. I hope this continues to get more attention and solutions proposed.
