Heilung is truly an experience. If you're interested in delving into this genre I'd also suggest a Nordic folk group called Wardruna, from Norway.

I never tire of Heilung reaction videos, because I love to see other people experience them for the first time, just like I did mere months ago.

Heilung is great in its own way. Saw them twice and it is like a ceremony. You have to be "ready" to enjoy their music. but those drums help a lot to get you in the right mood.

I would love to see you react to more of their stuff. It's so amazing! I also would love to attend one of their performances someday.

Such a lovely reaction. I cried again when I saw the music take u. I recommend the music vid for this. Chris & Maria are regulars at European festivals in their band Euzen. Kai ( throat singing tattooed Shaman.) joined their Pagan community group. Maria grew up in Norway near a Long Boat museum, & took part in re enactments. Chris is Danish. Kai German. They made their own clothes & instruments, & honour the animals with them. We did all live in harmony once, with each other, the animals & the Earth. Our Ancestors want peace. I have seen them twice and I need to again. It’s such an amazing thing to feel! “Traust” live from Red Rocks April 2024 is one you need to check out. I highly recommend it! Heilung is German for healing, and they truly do heal the soul. The world needs more Heilung 🖤

another of theirs i enjoy is their cover song Nikkal which is their version of the oldest known song in human history inscribed in cuneiform on clay tablets excavated from the ancient Amorite-Canaanite city of Ugarit. (modern day Syria)

Heilung is a Nordic ritual folk band with members from Denmark, Germany and Norway and their music is based on original artifacts and traditional texts from the Iron Age and the Viking Age. P.S you should check out the official video to this song, it's freaking GORGEOUS!

They actually call their performances as rituals so ritualistic is not wrong :) Also they have built many if not all of their instruments themselves using natural/historic materials. The band actually got some trouble from customs agents because one of their instruments was done from human bone
