Incredible that you could talk about the flip flopping and not mention that she is likely just taking these positions temporarily and will immediately move back to her 2019 positions if she wins.

I always miss Katherine when She's not part of this....

On the argument that legalization would result in addiction: Drugs are already super duper easily available. God knows legalization might make them less available (by undermining the black market and replacing it with a more regulated one). I think it's hard for this argument to stand up to scrutiny.
  • @20:56 Your being a bit disingenuous by stating that Biden ruled out males yet failing to mention that he also ruled out anyone who isn't a POC. Do better.

Swiss here – and the following, just to be clear, is all tongue-in-cheek, love you guys, BUT: Nick, as an intellectual, you should be ASHAMED of yourself. The Orson Welles quote about Switzerland is factually as wrong as it gets because one of the very few things that were NOT invented in Switzerland is the cuckoo clock (which was invented in Germany) – unlike a lot of other things, which is why we have the highest percentage of Nobel prize laureates per capita in the world, so there's that to start with. Also, the authors of the American Constitution thoroughly studied Switzerland (even though we did not have a written Constitution back then) more than any other country. Conversely, the authors of the first written Swiss Constitution of 1848 looked at the American model for inspiration. So don't piss on Switzerland, guys.

Is Jonah Goldberg Stephen Root's real name? Now that we know Walz is Harris' VP pick, what is the thoughts since he isn't very centrist?

Great point on addiction, Jonah. Not at all liberating. If drug use is legal, the responsible thing for a govt to do is educate, educate, educate on the dangers of drug use.

Marco Rubio is a resident of Florida. Donald Trump is a resident of Florida. It's not legal for Donald Trump to select Marco Rubio as a running mate. Anyone who says that Marco Rubio is a better running mate for Donald Trump is not somebody whose political opinion should be taken series as they obviously don't think that deeply on it. Also I can only say this because I'm in the future from this video but Harris did not select Shapiro. Thus many of those round table arguments for why JD Vance is a bad candidate has become null and void.
  • 53:05 The issue I have with drug legalization is that we don’t have enough resources right now to deal with those who are addicts. And the resources we do have, I question their effectiveness considering so many leave treatment and go back to drug use. With that said, as someone who deals with chronic pain, I would rather take a 10mg gummy than any opioid.

Best analysis about veep: Former vice president John Nance Garner described the position as "not worth a bucket of warm spit." Now I don't have to listen to your hour-long video.

Jonah Goldberg has the same run-on cackle that Kamala Harris has.
