"We're not moving the Country left or right. We are moving forward and bringing everyone with us" Governor Andy Beshear

Tim Walz would be the best pick! He’s the best governor in the country and would easily bring in rural voters, young voters, independents, has been obliterating Republicans easily, and is a very humble man.
  • The men that Kamala is thinking of choosing are all great men of integrity. I believe Josh Shapiro will be chosen. He is a good Governor who hails from Pennsylvania, a huge State with 20 electors. He is the logical choice. Tim Walz comes to mind too. Good luck to Kamala in choosing her VP.

Shapiro won Pennsylvania against the extremely disliked Mastriano. He's not as popular as Kelly or Beshear in national politics.

I'm very disappointed that Gov. Tim Walz isn't on the "short list." He's the real deal, mid-western, from a small town, a strong proponent of workers' rights. IMO

Tim Walz would be an incredible pick

It's between either Tim Walz or Josh Shapiro, I think Tim Walz is the best option, but I wouldn't be mad if she picked Josh Shapiro because he's good too.

As much as I’d like the pick to be Kelly, Harris’s path to 270 can survive without AZ but not without PA. Shapiro could potentially maintain the blue wall as well as sway votes in the sunbelt. Kelly is a great choice but solidifying the blue wall must be the end game to winning this one, which makes Shapiro the sounder choice.
  • I'm a childless dog lady here voting blue 💙 with the childless cat ladies, meow.

Wait! What about Tim Walz? I'm Canadian, so I don't know any of the candidates. However, Tim Walz has made several appearances on MSNBC since Sunday, and I felt he was a great pick!

We need Andy Beshear of Tim Waltz .

While Shapiro is a good talker and popular in Pennsylvania, I think Kelly would bring so much to her campaign as a whole. All of the contenders are good though.
  • I think Mark Kelly would be the perfect balance for the ticket - moderate white dude, border and immigration expert, popular with Latinos, could bring a swing state, military, gun owner who advocates for sensible gun control. And a freaking ASTRONAUT. That said, Shapiro is definitely an excellent option as well.
  • Shapiro seems the bold move, Kelly the smart one. Shapiro is the most dynamic, and has a good record as governor. Kelly has an interesting life story, and is in a border state. I'm also quite an advocate for Tim Walz, who would help Harris with the Mid-West, which she really needs.
  • She has a lot of really great options. They all have great benefits, in different ways. They all will be solid supporters for Madam President.
