We Need to Talk About Tails... (Sonic Comic Dub)

I think this is based on the fact that in the oldest Sonic games every time you played with Sonic and Tails, and Tails died, he would always come back

This comic manages to be really dark and really funny at the same time

I like how in this comic sonic doesnt know that they had extra lives so he probaly spent his whole life avoiding his death since he didnt know all of them have more lives

I like how the artstyle was more cute when tails was telling what happened but it was more rough and dark-colored when sonic was thinking about what happened which is a pretty nice touch :face-blue-three-eyes:

I don't know what it is about Tails' voice, but to me it feels right. Inexperienced, derpy, somewhat childish but not stupid or idiotic, with a healthy dose of adorability. I love it along with the whole episode, it was well written, dark but something to smile and laugh at at the same time.

This is when you include in-game logic when the characters could respond to it realistically

Imagine that it's actually because of Eggman on why Tails seems to have Infinite Life, like. Sonic: Eggman, we have a problem! Eggman: Sonic!? What the hell are you doing in my Base! And how the hell you knew where am I!? Sonic: There's no time! I saw Tails die but I saw him alive again like I didn't kill him or that he didn't due like at all! Eggman: Oh, that. I guess I forgot to tell you I did that. Sonic: You what!? Since when!? Eggman: Erm. Do you remember the time I kidnapped your 2 Tailed Friend? Sonic: Yes? Eggman: Well, you see. At the time, I'm creating a new device that will grant me an Immortal life and needed a test subject. Who's the better test subject but the 2 Tailed Fox. Especially when said 2 Tailed Fox found a way out of his cell and accidentally got himself killed. I need to speed up the process of said Immorality, removing the literal Immortality part and granted him a "Respawn" type of ability instead. I thought it didn't work at 1st, but then my Security found him just outside of our base, and that's how I knew it work. I recaptured him and plan to do a few more test on him, but you showed up and destroyed all my research. I was able to recreate something that copies the same ability that I merely called 1-Up or Extra Life, which is extremely helpful when I accidentally killed myself in some of my Experiments. I mean, why do you think I have many of those all around the world and why some of my Machines kept me alive and allowed me to escape from you into killing me.

Tails respawns But the Body don't go away

I feel Sonic is putting to much thought into this. He's getting a free pass on accidently killing his buddy he should ask less questions and just enjoy it.

when i saw the ending i was like "nah theres nothing wrong with tails, its sonic who has a problem"

Always a fun coding oversight to find out the performance issues are due to corpses and other assets not being properly removed, sometimes you don't even truly know the effects until there's a literal mountain of them hiding off screen somewhere.

Ironic how the thumbnail empties Tails is gonna go Crazy, but then you see the video, and Sonic just goes on a rampage.

Tails is like the Vreedle Brothers from Ben 10, or the Mauler Twins from Invincible, in the sense that always that they dies, a clone of them is created to takes their places, giving them a rare kind of immortality.
