I'm convinced that they just DIDN'T tell Seagal that He'd lose the fight against Tyson. I think they just straight filmed Tyson smashing the double once Seagal left for the day.

In regards to the “why don’t you guys speak English?” Scene I present you with this IMDb trivia: The Mandarin speaking scene where Steven Seagal interrupts a conversation between Dong-xue Li and Li Ai telling them "to speak English" was due to Seagal forgetting his lines. This was inadvertently left in the final cut of the movie.

The production team was probably thinkin’ ; 8 hours of CGI and background work is better than having to be around Seagal for any minute more than necessary.

I felt actual pain, when you said "we are only 40 minutes in" during the conference room scene. That FELT like the climax... This movie might hold the record for the most things to happen, with no impact on the plot. Things are just happening.

Dad worked on the set of this movie. Said he had heard that they just didnt tell Seagal about the end of the fight where he gets faded up by Tyson.
